New Features:
- PDF Preview: Improve the viewing experience of your documents with our new PDF preview. Access PDF files directly from Teamplate without having to download them.
- Two-Factor Authentication: We have integrated 2FA into Teamplate to enhanced security. This additional protective layer ensures that only you can access your account.
- ChatGPT Integration: The Tenant Owner can now connect ChatGPT to their tenant via an API. With this feature, the AI assistant “Quinn” is added to each project and space. Tagging Quinn and asking a question provides immediate responses in the thread. Each thread maintains its continuity, while new tags in the chat initiate a distinct conversation.
Updated Features:
- Database Query Improvements: We have made substantial improvements to our database queries, ensuring a more stable and reliable system.
- ‘Jump to Present’ Button: We have reactivated the ‘Jump to Present’ button on Teamplate, facilitating swift navigation to the most recent messages.
- Overhauled Multi-File Upload: We have redesigned the process for uploading multiple files simultaneously. The new design, coupled with background uploading, allows you to track your upload progress without interrupting your work on the platform.

- Pinned Media: In addition to chat messages, other media types such as images, documents, external files, or tickets can be pinned to the chat. This feature allows users to keep important content easily accessible to all team members.
- Minimize tickets: Tickets can now be minimized or saved as a draft to close tickets at will without losing information or progress.
- Copy tickets to another board: Users can now copy tickets between different boards for more flexibility in task management.
- Cross-Project Ticket Converting: Users can now convert channel messages into tickets on different project boards, streamlining task creation across projects.
Updated:
- Data Room rework: the entire Data Room has been redesigned. In addition to the new design, users can now create text documents, set up their own folder structures, and discuss files in their respective threads.

- Polls: Create and customize polls in Spaces and Projects to gather opinions or make decisions effectively. Various options are available, like anonymous, multi-choice and deadlines.
- 5-Priority-Levels: Assign one of five distinct priority levels to tickets for better visibility and organization of tasks.
- Offline Behavior: Messages composed offline are saved in the chat and automatically sent when internet connection is restored.
- My Space: Users now have a personal space for managing individual tasks, ideas, and appointments, ensuring a focused and organized workspace.
- Linked Ticket References: Web URLs to tickets are now automatically converted into linked ticket references in the chat, eliminating redirection to the browser.
- Enhanced Member Invites: Easily copy and paste email lists into the “add new member“ field of a space or project by separating email addresses with a semicolon.
- Enhanced Chat Lists: Create customizable numbered lists with flexible positioning and sublevels using the Tab key and Backspace key.
- “Move to Archive” Button: Quickly archive all tickets in the Done column with a single click using the arrow button, bypassing the automatic transfer wait time.

- Improved Unread Messages: Enhanced visibility and sorting for unread messages, thread icons, and personal mentions with an @ symbol.
- Expanded Image Display: Images in ticket descriptions are now larger when clicked, matching the size of attachments.

- Sprint Redirection: Automatic redirection to an ongoing sprint when clicking the “Board” icon or tab.

- Introducing Custom Ticket Fields: Create custom fields with different formats for tickets on the Board, improving flexibility and organization in Teamplate. Activate/deactivate them as needed and mark custom fields as mandatory to capture all necessary information for tickets.
Updated:
- Prioritize your Backlog: Users can now prioritize tickets in their backlog, helping them focus on the most important tasks in their project.
- Due Date Renamed: Due Date has been renamed to Enddate for clarity, but this change does not affect the functionality of the feature.
- Estimation Sessions: In Teamplate for collaborative effort among team members to estimate the amount of effort or time required to complete a task.
- Improved Flexibility: Delete all columns on the board except for TODO and DONE, with the ability to rename them.
- Lane Board Cards: It is now possible to convert cards on the lane board into tickets on the board.
- Improved User Experience: Progress bar for checklists in tickets is now displayed directly on the ticket on the board.
- Improved File Management: Downloaded files from Teamplate no longer have Teamplate-prefix in the file name.
April 2023
New:
- Coloring Tickets: Teamplate now offers the ability to color-code tickets on the board. This feature helps users to quickly identify tickets based on their urgency or category. Users can choose from a variety of colors to customize their board and make it more visually appealing.
- Deleting Account: With this update, users now have the ability to delete their Teamplate account. This feature can be useful for users who no longer wish to use the tool or who have multiple accounts they wish to consolidate.
- Restoring Account: In addition to the ability to delete accounts, Teamplate allows users to restore their deleted accounts within a 14-day window. This feature helps users who change their minds about deleting their account. After 14 days, deleted accounts cannot be restored.
Updated:
- Chat Message Debounce: Teamplate has made an update to the chat notification system. If you have a chat open, you will no longer receive an audio notification for each new message that comes in. This feature helps to reduce distraction and increase focus for users who are actively engaged in a chat.
- Deleting Spaces: In order to provide a more streamlined approach to managing spaces, Teamplate has updated the functionality of deleting spaces and projects. Users can now only delete them via the Archive, which helps to keep the workspace organized and avoids cluttered channels.
- Scroll Position in Projects/Spaces: Teamplate has updated the scroll position functionality in projects and spaces. This feature allows users to more easily navigate within a project or space and keep track of where they are in the board.
- Button Renaming: In order to provide greater clarity and consistency in the ticketing process, Teamplate has updated the button naming in copied tickets. The “Copy” button has been renamed to “Save” to more accurately reflect the action being performed.
- Checklist Feature: The checklist feature in Teamplate can now be used also for new tickets. This feature allows users to create and manage checklists directly within a ticket, making it easier to track and manage all the necessary information in one place.
- Converting Checklist Items to Ticket: With this update, users will now receive a success notification when converting a checklist item to a ticket. This feature can help to improve workflow and ensure that important tasks are not overlooked.

New:
- Sprint Feature: Sprints allow our users to organize their work into defined timeframes and track their team’s progress to ensure all tasks are completed on time.
- EPIC Feature: An Epic is an umbrella term for related tasks that allows the team to track the progress of a larger task.
- Drag & Drop Projects: In order to keep track of larger projects, Teamplate now offers the option of using drag & drop to arrange projects as desired in terms of relevance and personal preferences.
- Archiving Spaces and Projects: The Archive in our tool allows users to save old or no longer needed spaces and projects and retrieve them later. It helps to keep the overview in the workspace and avoid messy channels.
- Delete Spaces and Projects: With this update, users can now delete channels via the Archive. Please note that only tenant owners and the owner of the respective space/project can perform this function. Deleted channels can be restored within 14 days.
- Copy Tickets: Users often use similar or identical tickets for their tasks. It is now possible to copy tickets on the board.
- Switching E-Mail Service: Previously, we had the problem that emails from us always ended up in the spam folder. By moving to Amazon SES this problem has been solved.
- Checklist Feature: The ability to add checklists to tickets has been added to improve visibility and organization when working on tickets. To use this tool, open an already created ticket and add a checklist under the description. However, this process will be further optimized with the next app release.
Updated:
- Ringtone changes: Based on user feedback, we have improved the ringtone for incoming calls. The previous tone was felt to be too intrusive and has therefore been replaced with a milder variant.
- Creating Tenant specification: The tenant name must meet certain requirements to be able to access Teamplate via the web. If the name is invalid, the user is now shown the requirements.
- Multi Tenancy: With this functionality, users can now participate in multiple tenants using different email addresses.
